PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

RUNNING MONEY: Professional Portfolio Management is a finance textbook published by McGraw Hill. This book focuses on the business of investment decision making from the perspective of the portfolio manager. Its mission is to provide applied training in advanced portfolio management techniques, including both development of theory and illustration of practice. The book is ideal for an elective course at the MBA level, an advanced undergraduate course and a reference source for leading edge investment management and business techniques. The CFA Institute utilizes two chapters from the book for its continuing education program for CFA® charter holders.

The authors are uniquely qualified to write this book. They have managed tens of billions of dollars in global equity, fixed income, long/short and asset allocation portfolios, and have developed a specialized program in investment education at Boston University. Earning PhD's and their CFA® charters, they have published papers in both academic and professional journals, spoken at numerous academic and professional conferences, and consulted for various investment management firms.
